Peek inside my closet

OUTFIT POST #2
It's been awhile since I've done one of these. But they're always fun. I found this top while window shopping with Gabrielle the other day. And surprisingly, I found it at UB, which is not where I would usually shop at. But hey, there's a first for everything right? It is a coral toga inspired top/dress. The first thing i fell in love with was the colour. Looks good on an Asian skin tone, like mine. The colour is gorgeous. The top/dress, could actually be a dress as well. It definitely looks cute both ways. I had scrunched it up a little from the back so that it would make a top. This works because there is an elastic band that's right on the waist area. The sleeves are also ruffled, which adds a nice detail to it. This top was SUCH a steal. I got it for $15, on sale, from the originally priced $29.90. It also comes in black, which I thought made a cute LBD for any special formal occasion. The shorts, I had gotten from Abercrombie & Fitch during the Seattle trip. They're just regular cotton khaki coloured shorts. great for summer, and it also makes a great basic that pairs up with literally everything. And last but not least, the gladiator inspired heels from Spring. Goes great with most outfits. Also another staple in my closet. I had worn these for Prom, and even though they seem pretty high, (can't really tell in the pictures, but it's approximately 4 inches.) They're actually quite comfortable because there's a platform for these shoes. Style + comfort is the way to go ladies! But yeah this is pretty much what I wore today, minus my Talula Babaton cashmere cardi, and my gladiator sandals. (I switched the heels because I know I wouldn't last a 5 hour event walking around in those) Let me know what you think of the outfit : )

Oh and pictures from Friday's BBQ can be found here
